LIGHTING PRODUCT WARRANTY
This warranty applies to lighting products supplied by Serparco Pty Ltd and is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under applicable consumer law. Our products are designed for general illumination across mobile equipment, marine utility, recreational, architectural, commercial, sporting, infrastructure, and fixed installation applications, subject to the terms below.
Warranty Period
DC-powered lighting products carry a warranty period of thirty-six (36) months from the earlier of installation, commissioning, or purchase date. DC-powered products include lighting installed on mobile equipment, vessels, recreational vehicles, and other extra-low voltage systems.
Permanently installed AC-powered lighting products carry a warranty period of sixty (60) months from the date of installation or commissioning. This includes architectural, commercial, sporting, industrial, infrastructure, and public-space lighting installations.
What Is Covered
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, LED modules and drivers, and the mechanical integrity of the luminaire housing under normal operating conditions. Where a product is determined to be defective within the applicable warranty period, Serparco Pty Ltd may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace it with an equivalent model, or provide credit for the product value. Any replacement product inherits the remaining balance of the original warranty period.
Intended Use
Products supplied by Serparco Pty Ltd are intended for general illumination applications. Unless specifically stated, products are not certified for hazardous-area or explosion-protected environments, ignition-protected applications, certified navigation or regulated signalling lighting, or any application requiring compliance certification not supplied with the product.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover labour, access equipment, removal or reinstallation costs, downtime, production loss, or consequential or indirect damages. It also excludes incorrect installation, wiring or mounting practices; electrical faults external to the luminaire including supply instability, polarity reversal or incorrect circuit protection; physical damage, impact or mechanical abuse; corrosion, chemical exposure or environmental conditions outside the product’s intended rating; modification, disassembly or unauthorised repair of sealed luminaires; and normal cosmetic wear that does not affect performance.
Gradual reduction in light output or colour shift consistent with normal LED ageing and industry performance expectations is not considered a defect. Partial LED failures that do not materially affect the primary function or safe operation of the product are excluded. Cosmetic changes including surface finish variation, discolouration or environmental wear that do not affect functional performance or structural integrity are not covered. Reduction in light performance caused by accumulation of dust, debris, salt or other environmental contaminants where reasonable maintenance and cleaning has not been carried out is also excluded. Variations in luminous output, colour temperature or optical performance that remain within normal manufacturing tolerances or expected LED performance characteristics over time shall not be considered a defect.
Conditions of Warranty
To maintain warranty validity, products must be installed and operated within rated electrical and environmental limits. DC installations must include appropriate circuit protection. AC installations must be completed by licensed electrical contractors in accordance with applicable regulations. Products must be used only for applications consistent with their intended design.
Product Registration
Product registration is recommended to assist with warranty validation and service support. Registering your product allows Serparco Pty Ltd to confirm installation details, warranty eligibility and provide faster technical assistance if required. Where a product has not been registered, proof of original purchase and installation details may be required to support any warranty claim. Registration does not extend or alter the stated warranty period.
Transfer of Warranty
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and the original installation only. The warranty does not automatically transfer to subsequent owners if the product, machine, vessel or installation is sold or transferred. Lighting products purchased second-hand, removed from their original installation or resold through third parties are not covered unless confirmed in writing by [Your Company Name].
Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim, proof of original purchase, product identification details, installation date and application type, a description of the fault, and photographs showing the installation and failure condition may be required. Products may be requested for inspection prior to approval of any warranty remedy.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the warranty provided is limited to the repair, replacement or credit of the product only. Serparco Pty Ltd is not liable for installation costs, removal costs, loss of use, downtime or any consequential damages arising from product failure.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.

RETURNS POLICY
This Returns Policy applies to all lighting products supplied by Serparco Pty Ltd . It outlines the process for returning goods and operates in addition to any
rights and remedies available under applicable consumer law.
RETURN AUTHORISATION
Products must not be returned without prior written approval from Serparco Pty Ltd . A Return Authorisation (RA) reference must be obtained before any goods
are sent back. Returns received without an RA reference may be refused.
To request an RA, provide via email info@serparco.com Subject: Product Return :
• Company or purchaser name
• Invoice or order reference
• Product model and quantity
• Reason for return
• Photographs where applicable
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
Returns are assessed case-by-case. Acceptance of any return does not imply acceptance of fault or liability.
Change of mind returns may be considered only where products are:
• Unused and uninstalled
• In original packaging and resaleable condition
• Requested within 14 days of delivery
The following are generally not eligible for return:
• Custom-built or made-to-order products
• Special-order or non-stocked items
• Installed, modified, or used products
Freight costs for non-warranty returns remain the responsibility of the purchaser. A restocking fee may apply.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT SUPPLY
Claims for damaged or incorrectly supplied goods must be made within 5 business days of delivery. Supporting photographs may be required. Serparco Pty Ltd
will determine the appropriate remedy following assessment.
WARRANTY RETURNS
Products believed to be faulty must follow the warranty claim process outlined in the Lighting Product Warranty. An RA reference is required prior to return.
Products returned for assessment that are found not to be defective, or that fall outside warranty conditions, may incur inspection and freight charges.
RETURN CONDITIONS
All returned goods must be:
• Adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit
• Clearly labelled with the issued RA reference
• Returned to the address specified in the return instructions
Serparco Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage occurring during return transit due to inadequate packaging.
CREDITS, REPLACEMENTS AND REFUNDS
Approved returns may be resolved by repair, replacement, credit, or refund at the sole discretion of Serparco Pty Ltd . Replacement products may be equivalent
in function but not necessarily identical in appearance.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, Serparco Pty Ltd is not responsible for labour, installation, removal, access equipment, downtime, or any consequential or
indirect losses associated with returned goods.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
